I’d like to point out that Ron, an employee of Swagbucks was kind enough to visit the site and address some of the concerns I had with the program and I have to admit I was impressed that they took the time to do some damage control. Please read the Swagbucks response to the post. I am now using the system and testing it out.  I have also written a positive review of Swagbucks based on the last few months of rare usuage.
My original intention with this article …

I’ll bet you didn’t know that the majority of web analytics and stats trackers fail to record a large number of valuable information.  If you are like me then you likely can’t get enough stats about your site.  I love drilling through my web stats to see who comes to my site from where and why.  I say drill because of a new hit tracking site I’ve come across and feel the need to share.
MyTinyStats is an awesome tool for anyone who enjoys learning where their visitors come from.  It …

Harassment 101 Available at Everest College

If you enjoy being harrassed all day every day by complete strangers then Everest College is the place for you. Yesterday evening I filled out an online form to receive information about Everest College. The harrassment began promptly at 8:10am EST this morning when I woke up to my ringing phone. I rolled out of bed to look at the call display and saw a number I didn’t recognize 1-720-684-4077. Since I had no clue who that was I ignored it and went back to sleep. My phone starts to ring again 10 minutes later with the same number and I ignore it again and figure since I can’t enjoy my sleep I’ll go take a shower. I spend about 30 minutes in the shower and when I come out and look at my phone… 5 more calls during the 30 minutes I was in the shower. Who the hell is this I keep asking myself and what the hell do they want with me at this time in the morning. I stroll over to my computer and pop 720-684-4077 into Google to see what I can find and oh! what a magical tool Google is. The only results I see are listings for websites such as 800notes.com, whocallsme.com, phoneowner.info, etc. Basically a bunch of sites set up to track unknown phone numbers where people like me who get harrassed can search for answers.

start looking through the various reports on whocallsme.com and on that one site alone there were 20 complaints of people who were being harrassed.

True Crime »

There is a stigma that is eternally attached to anyone who collects true crime artifacts. Sure, I have a hard time understanding why someone would pay money for the used socks of a serial killer, but I also have a hard time understanding why someone kills and animal, guts it, mounts it to their wall and calls it “art”. Same goes for people who would pay millions for a dress some starlet wore to the Oscars, a baseball signed by a major leaguer,
