Canadians Can Watch Hulu.com

When I learned of the wonderful Hulu.com earlier this year I was overcome with joy at the thought of being able to watch all my favourite TV shows whenever I wanted.  I quickly surfed my way over and spent some time reviewing the extensive library of awesome shows like HousePrison Break and Family Guy and couldn’t wait to get my feet wet.  My bubble was burst when I finally decided on what to watch  first and found a nasty message saying that videos are only available to Americans.

Don’t let that stop you.  If you live in Canada or any other country for that matter there is a wonderful free service called HotSpotShield which automatically sets you up through a VPN (VirtualPrivateNetwork) that assigns you an American IP address.  Download hotspotshield and run the application whenever you want to watch stuff on hulu.com or even listen to music on Pandora.  Hotspotshield installation is extremely fast and easy.  It will add a shortcut to your Start menu so you can launch it whenever you want.  I don’t suggest using it all the time because browsing is slightly slower but the streaming is just as fast.

If you can see the clip below then you’ll have no problems watching videos at hulu.  If you see the nasty warning message then get hotspotshield and you’re good to go!
