Bedtime Stories Revisited: Leviathan Chronicles

16 July 2008 20 views No Comment

Who loves the sound of a sweet soft female voice…  talking about balasts and submarines, torpedos and deep water impact?  Did that get you?  I’m not much of a listner never really have been I’m more of a visual type of guy.  I take a book with me every day to read while I head to work and my television is always on whether the volume is up or down.  I also love my sleep but unfortunately I can’t watch tv or read a book when I’m trying to sleep.  That’s where podcasts come in.

Leviathan2

The Leviathan Chronicles is an audio sci-fi adventure that gives off an eerie 1940’s radio kind of vibe.  It was the perfect thing to listen to last night while finishing up some work on my site and since this is a podcast I left it running while lying in bed.  The actors and sound effects are remarkable and really give you the feeling that you’re there in the action.  I swear I felt sea sick a couple times and no I don’t have a waterbed.  Sonar and distant echos in deep underwater subs is where the first chapter begins.  You can catch the first 5 episodes on their site for free which serves as an informational portal into the Leviathan Chronicle.  You can learn about the characters, places and things as well as talk to other listners on the forum.
