Wargames 25th Anniversary One Night Only

13 July 2008 22 views No Comment

I’ll start this off with a quote from one of my favourite 80’s movies of all time.

Everything is different, but the same… things are more moderner than before… bigger, and yet smaller… it’s computers… San Dimas High School football rules.

Delivered flawlessly by Ox in Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure kind of sums up the way I feel.  Every year something happens that makes me feel that much older whether it’s a night out with the boys reminicing about old times or watching old movies to bring back my teen years and the older I feel the more everything feels the same.

I think everyone knows the feeling I’m talking about.  The chills you get the moment you experience that deja vu instance or flashback and all you want to do is put yourself in that moment.  I just got that feeling.  WarGames.

Yep.  Remember Wargames?  I think every computer gamer and geek alike wanted to be David Lightman and get to play the ultimate video game.  Well on July 24th, 2008 at 7:30pm for one night only you can relive the 80’s and see Wargames in select theatres and experience the young Matthew Broderick on screen!  There will also be extra footage which includes interviews with Broderick and Ally Sheedy and the crew on the relevance of Wargames today.  Pick up your WarGames tickets here and don’t miss your one shot to see this in theaters again!

On this one night only catch a sneak peak preview of the sequal to Wargames, Wargames: The Dead Code.
