Anyone know where I can find a CEO?

Dennis CareyLarge companies need big minds to keep things in order.  It’s not as easy as it seems on tv shows dipicting big corporate businesses.  I’d imagine it would be just the same if a big corporation was in need of someone to run to run the show.  Finding a CEO for your company can be a rough especially for large companies such as TYCO or AT&T.   Hiring the person who’ll be in charge requires a knowledge and skill only few possess.  “Head hunting” as it is called in the average job market and Talent Management as defined by Korn/Ferry International requires a special skill at finding and retaining the perfect candidate for a top job in any comapny.  Dennis Carey is just that man.

Mentioned in Business Week January 2008 as one of the world’s most influencial head hunters he has over 20 years of experience in recruiting CEO’s, board members and senior executives into large firms and corporations.   He is a senior partner at Korn/Ferry International and has a Ph. D in Finance and Administration from the University of Maryland and served as a post-doctoral Fellow at Harvard during the early 80’s.  Carey believes that in order to succeed you must understand the importance of competitive differentiation; know what you don’t know and build a great team; realize that the acquisition, motivation, training and retention of talent on a global scale will separate the winners from the losers.

Well if I ever find myself in a situation where I need a CEO stat I definitely know where to go and who to find.
