Serial Box Crime

Ive found a new network to join called SocialSpark which basically connects bloggers with other bloggers as well as advertisers.  While reviewing people’s profiles I came across a site called webgrrrl.net and a post about Tweaking Bullfrog’s Theme Hospital and it brought back some old memories.

She discusses ways to improve performance for DOS games when using a DOS emulator and I started to think about the old games.. the cool games… Kings Quest, Police Quest and Space Quest, classics.  I still have an old PC lying around and if I ever had the urge to play those games I’d just fire that bad boy up to play the old school games.  Im talking 386 with Dosshell!  I’ll work some autoexec.bat and config.sys magic and maximize my 128k ram.  My suggestion to her if she enjoys the old games is to invest in a crappy old box to play em on.
