I recently attended school there and had to take a leave for 2 months because of some problems that i was having. I applied for a leave and they denied it. I am thinking I am 23 years old how can they tell me that I am not allowed to take a leave. So they come to me and say we can drop you from the program and you can re-enter when things are better for you. So I ask them...is this going to cost me anymore to re-enter? their response was no. So I said OK lets do that then so I don't have bad attendance on my record. well, I go back and am excited to re-enter and do all the paperwork to get back in school and they tell me that I have to come up with $757 more. So here I am sitting at home with no job and unable to come up with $757 and still stuck paying $10,000 back to the government for the 5 months of education that I received from them that I cant do nothing with because I am lacking 2 months of training. DO NOT GO TO EVEREST COLLEGE! I would never recommend anyone to this school they are such a joke! I had similar complaints regarding students. Incorrect spelling, improper grammar, etc. I wanted to continue my education and obtain my Master's degree. I went to another college only to hear the words "diploma mill". They don't care who they accept (which explains the student quality). The ONLY credits’ the college would recognize, and mind you this is after much persuasion, was my Comp I, Comp II, and Math. They tell you when you enroll that you can transfer to ANY college as long as the college courses are numbered the same. That is a lie. Good luck with your education but when it comes to any reputable business taking your educational background seriously do not be surprised. One of my classmates seen what had happen and told the class, all but five students remained in class after what had happen to me. I am a nice, good man and was treated like a criminal, I don't even feel welcomed there anymore after this. There is definately a problem with this college I am contacting a lawyer in the morning to see what can be done. This is only scratching the surface there is way more to be revealed and its not pretty.
